Today is a behind the scenes look at our first styled shoot since the launch of Joy Filled Occasions. Yes, I know, this post is super late. I didn’t realize how crazy blogging would be for two businesses. Yikes! Running both Jackson Signature Photography and Joy Filled Occasions has been great but trying to keep up with social media for the both of them has been nuts!

Anyway, this beautiful garden party meets forest styled shoot took place at the up and coming Hill Farm venue. I partnered with Victoria the owner of Wood a Grace and she and I gathered several fabulous vendors that caught our vision and brought the look to life! Just like every styled shoot though, it didn’t some without a few glitches.

We were rained out on the scheduled date of the shoot. Then our rain date ended up not working for everyone in the end so we picked a second rain date. Thankfully the second rain date worked for everyone BUT it meant that I missed shooting my brother-in-law asking his sweet girlfriend to marry him. I was so bummed BUT I think the beauty of this Hill Farm styled shoot made up for it all. Don’t worry, Aaron covers the proposal. These are just the sneak peeks from that shoot since I am STILL waiting to hear back about publishing the full shoot but I think you can get a good feel for it all.

So the above photo, that’s the ceremony location… Swoon worthy much right?!?!? I don’t think it gets much better than that view for an “I do.” The river overlook is stunning!

As for the rest of the Hill Farm grounds they made a gorgeous backdrop for our forest garden party.

I wanted to give a little shout-out to all of the wonderful vendors that brought this day to life and volunteered their time and services to create this styled wedding to inspire other brides.
