A dress size 14 to a size 4 with a whole new look. See the work of a wonderful Greensburg and Latrobe seamstress who artfully brought these wedding dress alterations together. While the original was lovely, Sandy gave this dress a while new look.
Casablanca style number 2125. Simple and classic. An added shrug to doll it up a little for the ceremony with a form fitting style.
It’s a lovely dress don’t get me wrong but the magic Sandy worked on this dress was AMAZING!!! She carefully created a whole new masterpiece from the original dress. While most brides might only need a few wedding dress alterations such as a hem or tuck here and there, this one needed a little more. Curious as to how this was done?
If you look at the above photo from the designer you might notice how plain the bodice was. Sandy took the beading and lace from other portions of the dress and placed them over the plain bodice. She then used the shrug to create the charming “off the shoulder” sleeves. While I am sure there was a lot more that went into the wedding dress alterations, those two things completely changed the look into a one-of-a-kind gown.
Sandy does offer more simple dress alterations as well for brides and prom dresses. She is in the process of creating a space to connect with her brides so for now, please reach out to me here and I will introduce you to her. Her work is simply phonemail as you can see.
