Spending 15+ years in the wedding industry as a wedding photographer I have seen the in’s and out’s of planning a wedding. In 2017 I decided I wanted to become a dual business owner and I opened Joy Filled Occasions as a Greensburg wedding planner. It was a dream that started brewing in my heart after a discovery journey of what real JOY means and my passion for styling and planning. It is my heart to create a day for our couples that fills their wedding with JOY.

I’m married to the boy that spent two year pursuing me while I thought he just wanted to be friends. Aaron and I were married on October 20th, 2012 in a little white church with 150 of our closest friends. 8 years ago we brought home a little bundle of fur, our Golden, Duke and bought our first house. It’s a fixer-upper, but the cutest little cape cod with a navy blue front door. (My favorite color. Now we are a family of 4 with one more on the way in 2023.

I’m an overachiever, over planner, over thinker and tend to be a little bit of a perfectionist. While that might be annoying in my everyday life, I’ve found it’s perfect for wedding planning. I’ve always been the girl who plans a party and immediately after can’t wait to plan the next.
